Harmony Vegetarian Chinese Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Praying hands form Harmony’s logo, which is prominently displayed on the front window of this long-lived vegetarian restaurant. The kitchen’s specialty is faux meat and seafood, but we find it difficult to convince ourselves that the wood-ear mushrooms are really lamb-like. Still, it may appeal to vegetarians, and it's not often found in Atlanta. In addition to the lamb, faux beef, chicken, shrimp and even eel dishes are among the offerings, as is tofu in many different preparations. We like the crispy deep-fried stuffed eggplant and the dumplings, which come either steamed or fried. And don't overlook the soups, especially the "chicken" corn soup. Noodle platters are an inexpensive, filling and tasty way to dine. A pair of orange slices comprises dessert. There is no alcohol, so consider the hot tea. We recommend going with a gang of friends because portions are huge.
