An offshoot of one of the best wine shops in the city, Morrell Wine Bar & Café boasts over 100 wines by the glass and roughly 2,000 by the bottle---a startling inventory considering the restaurant itself is tiny---which come from the shop next door. It is a wonderful place to relax after a day of shopping or sightseeing in the Rockefeller Center environs. Though Morrell is a wine bar at heart, the food is taken very seriously. A luxurious foie gras club sandwich comes with a port-onion marmalade, and a smoked duck breast is brushed with a Syrah reduction. You'll also find simple, wine-friendly fare like roast chicken and beef.
