To enjoy the privilege of visiting chef-restaurateur Grant Achatz's Next Restaurant, diners must purchase advance tickets. The menu changes a few times a year. Past themes have included Chicago Steak House, elBulli, Childhood, A Taste of Thailand and Paris 1906. Because the meal is paid for in advance, there's no transaction to speak of at the restaurant proper.
