THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Wait until after dark to show up, because that’s when Paragon hits full stride. Live music wafts about this neighborhood bistro offering American cuisine and classy cocktails, and the fun continues nonstop into the wee hours with bands ranging from funk and soul to jazz. Wine selections, special promotions and events are heralded from enormous mirrors standing sentry above the bustling bar. There are a few dining tables in front, along with a raised, slightly more formal dining room at the back. The menu features steak salad, meatloaf and pan-roasted chicken with mushrooms. Dessert options change regularly but always include some form of French-style bread pudding.
