Peking House Restaurant Review:
A solid, well-run spot, Peking House is a softly illuminated eatery that serves mostly Cantonese dishes. Unlike some Chinese restaurants that feature a mind-boggling number of items, the menu here is edited to include only what the place does best, which is specialties that include crispy duck, Mongolian chicken, Singapore rice noodles and Hong Kong steak. You'll also find soups and appetizers like soft shell crab. Other, more unique preparations range from crispy quail to frogs’ legs in garlic butter, and mussels in black bean sauce. Typically, combination plates include an egg roll and fried rice. No MSG is used. Staff is well-dressed and well-trained.
