Troya Restaurant Review:

Troya's Fillmore outpost offers straightforward, traditional Turkish cuisine, ranging from various mezze, salads, flatbreads and wraps for lunch to more developed mezze and larger plates for dinner. Classics such as moussaka mix with less familiar dishes such as beef dumplings in yogurt sauce. A trio of baba ghanouj, haydari and muhammara with house-made Turkish bread is the right way to start at either lunch or dinner. Give your server some extra notice to avoid the ten-minute wait for kunefe --- warm shredded phyllo with melted cheese --- for dessert.
