Universal Joint Restaurant Review:
Built out of a former two-bay garage in a gentrifying south Decatur neighborhood, Universal Joint deals in snacks, salads, and light noshes. The burgers are popular, but we have a hard time getting one cooked as we order it. Get it well done, and it’s dry. The grilled chicken sandwich is a better payoff. French fries are crisp and tasty. Vegetarians might enjoy the black bean burgers. No desserts are served. Sitting on the patio savoring a sultry summer night is a satisfying experience.
