This simple restaurant offers the standard repertoire of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. Don’t miss the kibbeh labanya, a meatball and yogurt dish that is hard to come by in the U.S. Other standouts include stuffed squash served with salad, vegetables or meat; and the hearty, hot fava bean salad, which includes hot fava beans mixed with garlic and lemon juice and topped with tomato, parsley and olive oil. Don’t forget to try one of the ten-inch pizzas: the vegetable version, offering up spinach, green and red peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella and tomato sauce; or the marinated chicken, garlic, scallions, parsley and red pepper.
