Wurstküche Restaurant Review:
Wurstküche in Venice, a sequel to the popular downtown original, features a roomy industrial space and more than 50 craft beers. Expect the same sausage menu with varieties ranging from classic bratwurst and bockwurst to more exotic blends like buffalo with chipotle; rattlesnake and rabbit with jalapeño; duck and bacon; and alligator and hickory-smoked pork andouille. Double-dipped Belgian fries are the showcased side dish here, with sauces including the semi-traditional (chipotle mayo, ranch) and somewhat exotic (Thai peanut, curry ketchup). For dessert, you'll find a toasted apple pie ice cream sandwich on oatmeal raisin cookies. Also located at 800 E. Third St., Los Angeles, 213-687-4444.
