THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Miramonte Restaurant Review:
Cindy Pawlcyn, best know for her Mustards Grill in Yountville and her part in the trend-setting Fog City Diner in San Francisco, has ventured forth into the cuisine of the Americas-Alaska to Tierra Del Fuego and the Caribbean. Try the locally inspired Chinatown baby back ribs with spicy slaw, the Southern fried rabbit or a macaroni and cheese that leans toward Latino with the addition of pasilla chilies. Wines run the length of the continent with some expensive local options and more affordable bottles from farther afield. The historic, two-story building, fortified by exposed beams and dotted with local artwork, also boasts a beautiful patio shaded by a 100-year-old fig tree. On some nights difficulty with service and consistency disturb the flow of an easy-going restaurant that on other nights can take romance, celebration or a casual dinner with friends in stride.
