The Mission Restaurant Review:

Hip, friendly and easy on the pocketbook, The Mission in North Park has everything one could ask for in a breakfast and lunch spot. Plates are ample and satisfying. We never fail to order the chicken-apple sausage served with over-easy eggs, crispy rosemary potatoes and grilled rosemary bread. Other breakfast options are blueberry-cornmeal pancakes, the burrito with chipotle crema, and roast beef hash and eggs (feel the horseradish sinus burn). For lunch, go for Chino-Latino dishes like ginger-sesame tofu with brown rice or Indochine Happiness bowl with brown rice, grilled vegetable and a protein (shrimp, beef, chicken) with peanut sauce. Choose from grilled steak quesadillas, wraps and soft tacos. An expansive array of tasty gluten-free items is available. The place draws a melting pot of twenty-somethings, young families, an older set, vegetarians and carnivores, and it supports local artists and charities. Service is comfortable yet efficient. Also located in East Village and Mission Beach.
