At this friendly restaurant just off Gramercy Square, the bright, yellow-colored dining room is welcoming, as are, in good weather, the outside tables. The Gramercy Park crowd comes primarily for the homemade pastas---farfalle with fresh salmon and asparagus, fettuccine with lobster, penne with fresh mozzarella cheese. If available, try the meaty portobello mushroom in garlic oil, or the pan-roasted chicken with rosemary and garlic. Sundays, there’s a prix-fixe dinner menu for $19.95 from noon on.
