THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
In DC, Morton’s does not have quite the political cachet it had in the days of Dan Rostenkowski, but its clubby dining rooms---in Georgetown, on Connecticut Avenue, and in Vienna, Virginia---are still favorite sites for business dinners. Serious foodies pay close attention to the menu recital, and you can find something other than rare beef to eat, including giant lobsters, lamb and seafood, as well as some very worthy salads. Desserts are imperative, especially their soufflés, although their Godiva chocolate pastry is also a winner. A meal at Morton’s is as much about being seen as about eating, for this is a VIP-studded destination. So dress for dinner, let the valet park your car, and let yourself be pampered by trained staff who cater to your every mortal desire. Also located at 8075 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA, 703-883-0800.
