Moulin de Martorey Restaurant Review:
This mill, complete with a flower garden and carp-stocked pond, is a veritable haven of tranquility. The dining room is adorned with stone-tiled floors and a rustic décor, and the tables are beautifully laid. Interestingly enough, master chef Jean-Pierre Gillot learned his craft by making a tour of France's two- to four-toque restaurants. And while his cooking displays intelligence and daring, we wish it were a shade more consistent. The set menu is an excellent value. Attractive wine list expertly explained by Pierrette Gillot, with a good choice of Côte-Chalonnaise bottles on hand.
