THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Nobu Berkeley Street Restaurant Review:
The ground-floor bar is a hot-spot in its own right for the glamorous and young; a spiral staircase takes one up to a pretty dining room and a sushi bar. The menu, overseen by Mark Edwards, resembles that of the original Nobu. Innovations come with starters like New Style sashimi, which is raw fish with hot oil ranging from salmon to scallops with Wagyu beef given the same treatment. The wood oven provides excitement with dishes as varied as crispy pork belly with spicy miso, and lamb with miso. Western ingredients appear in hot dishes as well, with grilled asparagus coming with dried miso, and the signature black cod with miso. All are produced with great textures and terrific tastes.
