THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Old Country Buffet Restaurant Review:
Looking for a place to take the whole family without going broke? If you're looking to satisfy healthy appetites, this is the place for you. Massive buffet tables overflow with macaroni and cheese, peppered cabbage, fried chicken and roasts. You may not be as impressed with the service as the food since everything is do-it-yourself from fetching drinks to bussing tables. But, of course, this means you'll never get an aggressive waitress giving you the bum's rush. Instead, you can settle in, returning as many times as your appetite allows to the buffet line for helpings of hot soups, fresh salads and warm breads. And you just may never be able to get enough of the hot, frosted cinnamon buns. Also located at 165 Slater St., Manchester, 860-644-5160.
