THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Olympia Provisions Northwest Restaurant Review:
Olympic Provisions changed its name to Olympia Provisions. However, the charcuterie remains consistent and is the linchpin of the menu. The Spanish board presents two salamis, jamon de York, coppa ham and chorizo. Try the spit-roasted pork shoulder with eggplant, piquillo peppers and stewed corona beans or the crispy skinned salmon with braised leeks, roasted beets, radish and crème fraîche. The menu spans the spectrum of bold flavors, even offering vegetarian fare (think roasted mushroom banh mi). On a lighter note, choose the deli salad of garbanzo beans, rice, roasted vegetables, pecorino cheese, almonds and pickled raisins bathed in a lemon vinaigrette. Complement your meal with a selection from the small, thoughtful wine list or choose a craft cocktail from one of many herbal concoctions. For an unusual dessert, there’s chocolate "salami" with salt-and-pepper shortbread, or you may prefer the Meyer lemon rosewater sherbet or walnut baklava. Brunch presents an array of eggs Benedict and french toast, along with kielbasa, rotisserie chicken, beignets with lemon curd and creative salads such as a mix of beets, roasted carrots, watercress, grapefruit, fromage blanc and pistachios drizzled with Green Goddess vinaigrette.
