THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Oritalia Restaurant Review:
Though distinctly more or than italia, the menu is full of subtle, delicate and creative combinations that span Italy, the Mediterranean and Asia. For starters, try Oritalias signature tuna tartare laden with toasted pine nuts and avocado. A pistachio crusted chicken liver pâté sings with flavor, but the companion salad of frisée lettuce cloaked with orange-basil vinaigrette is a little too bitter. Fennel crusted leg of lamb sits atop an oven-dried tomato polenta dotted with glorious fava beans. Desserts are edible works of art. The wine list of more than 80 selections also offers many wines by the glass. Dramatic ochre-colored walls are accented with contemporary art in the warren of dining areas.
