THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pacific Restaurant Review:
In a semitropical setting with a wooden alligator and a splashing waterfall, Pacific gives a taste of Asian experiences with an eclectic menu that’s more about fusion cooking than traditional fare. The formula works, for it’s drawing crowds of all generations. The menu is studded with such unique dishes as the chicken cocochilenut soup, with its Thai roots, and roast duck spring rolls with a very sweet dipping sauce. The kitchen does a good job with various Vietnamese grilled beef and chicken dishes served with sautéed rice vermicelli cakes and rice paper wrappers. Almost as good is the royal pad Thai, with a non-Thai addition of roast duck. The extensive menu presents something to please all ages. Note that management puts on cooking classes and offers multicultural entertainment.
