THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Patio Loco Restaurant Review:
A popular college-town hangout, Patio Loco serves up an adventurous mix of well-prepared Mexican and Latin American cuisines in a casual cantina setting. Start with picada, which offers a sampling of dishes from several different Latin cultures. La frijolada, a Colombian-inspired dish of chickpeas, green beans and black beans spiked with chipotle and ginger, is a winner. So are empanadas, cilantro-marinated skirt steak, and crisp taquitos filled with juicy shredded chicken. The mole chicken is the best around. When the weather is fine, the patio is the place to be.
