Paul Chene Restaurant Review:
Founded in 1959 by Paul Chêne, this famous restaurant, frequented by the Duke of Windsor and Queen Elizabeth, is under the management of owner Harold Audouin, who perpetuates the establishment’s high standards. Adhering to French tradition, chef Philippe Mercier regales his patrons with a pheasant terrine au foie gras, Jean Gabin’s fresh mackerel, quenelle of pike with sauce Nantua, duck slices in an orange liquor, and, for dessert, crêpes Suzette in an orange-Cognac liquor. Menus €30 and €49. À la carte €60-€70.
