Paulette's Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Paulette’s Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the River Inn of Harbor Town, a boutique hotel in an exclusive downtown neighborhood. The entire community occupies an island in the Mississippi River. The room is flooded with natural light from abundant large windows. Chairs are padded with red velvet, which contrasts nicely with the walls and sheer white curtains. Chef de cuisine Dan Schroeder’s menu focuses on classic European dishes such as Sicilian chicken and filet mignon with butter cream sauce; daily specials appear on a regular basis as well. Among desserts are hot chocolate or strawberry crêpes. For brunch, we recommend the Southern eggs Benedict with country ham and hollandaise sauce. The wine list offers a variety of familiar labels from old and new world wineries, and includes some half bottle options and a few dessert wines. Paulette’s also governs service at the hotel’s rooftop bar, where appetizers are available along with beverages and that view of the Big Muddy beyond.
