Petros Winery & Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Chef-owner Petros Benekos established his eponymous Greek restaurant in Manhattan Beach, Calif., and has since expanded the brand. Begin with one of his pita-friendly dips, highlighted by melitzanosalata, a blend of roasted eggplant, garlic and lemon that arrives dusted with crushed walnuts. Continue with homemade beef Greek meatballs served with mashed potatoes or roasted chicken stuffed with feta and herbs, complemented by Petros Wines, of course.
