THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Plaza III The Kansas City Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
A Kansas City import, this handsome Faneuil Hall steakhouse lacks the buzz of the city's locally based meat emporiums, catering primarily to suits and tourists. We've got no beef with the Prime aged steaks, and there are a handful of enjoyable appetizers that transcend chophouse clichés such as the steak soup and the spinach salad with walnuts and hot bacon dressing. Be sure to split the sides, or they'll split your sides; we prefer the very good creamed spinach to the tasteless fried onion straws. While not quite as extensive as that of its rivals, the wine list is certainly well-rounded.
