Rattlesnake Restaurant Review:
The contemporary, art-filled setting and a view of the river through big windows ensure Rattlesnake's place as one of Detroit's premier dining destinations. Typifying the style is Maine sea scallops with a ragoût of grilled chanterelles and roasted corn ravioli. The menu also offers grilled steaks and chops. Salads include everything from a simple Caesar to one with watermelon, watercress and ginger vinaigrette. Baskets of house-made bread, rolls and muffins usually include sourdough, focaccia and rosemary or olive flavorings. Desserts include the white chocolate ravioli with hazelnut crème anglaise. There also are confections starring fresh seasonal fruits as well as house-made ice creams and sorbets.
