THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Reed's Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Reed's location in a shopping center next to a dry cleaner is as incongruous as ever for a restaurant that celebrates classic French food. Chef-owner Al Castan offers the business lunch crowd three-course meals at reasonable prices, and the parade of business suits and power ensembles every weekday shows that he’s keeping them happy. The dinner crowd is different and slightly older, here for very good pastas, seafood and meats with wine-and-herb sauces. Specials occasionally combine ingredients for novelty, but the kitchen is steady when it sticks to classic inspirations. The wine list is not extensive but is well-chosen, and prices are reasonable.
