RH Restaurant Review:
ANdAZ means "style" in Urdu (a central Indo-Aryan language), and style defines your experience at RH. Named after the hotel's nickname from the '70s, "Riot House," (made famous by the memorable parties thrown by rock 'n' rollers like Led Zeppelin, The Who and The Rolling Stones), the restaurant is a wide open space with a bar and views of busy Sunset Boulevard. Entering from the lobby, you’ll find the private dining room on your left, two massive marble communal tables on your right, silver-hued leather banquettes in the back, and the star of the show: the kitchen. It is undoubtedly the most open one in Los Angeles --- even the refrigerators have glass doors. Chef Justin Taylor presents a menu of California cuisine highlighting local, seasonal ingredients.
