THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rose Tattoo Cafe Restaurant Review:
Rose Tattoo Café was a pioneering place when it opened in the "far flung" Fairmount section of Philadelphia in 1989. Now a neighborhood mainstay in this well-discovered section of town near the Art Museum, Rose Tattoo is known for consistently good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff and a small, reasonably priced wine list are added attractions. Specials change regularly, but try the pan-seared provolone with aged balsamic, house-made mushroom ravioli and zippy jambalaya to get a sense of what this kitchen does best. Desserts are all made in-house and are available for take-out.
