This is one cool, sultry, romantic charmer that has a following as rabid as the Cubs. The fare is basic bistro---French onion soup, escargots, seafood and fruit tarts---but it’s all done in a way that is so laid-back you could fall asleep between courses. Besides the French Quarter atmosphere, the lure is in the reasonable prices and the extensive wine list. And it also doesn’t hurt to hear Edith Piaf lamenting a lost love in the background.
