Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurant Review:

Ruth’s offers a traditionally clubby setting and solidly executed menu. Think juicy steaks served sizzling in pools of butter --- that's what put this upscale New Orleans-based steakhouse on the map. Despite the rapid growth of this worldwide chain, the experience never feels mass-produced. You can order veal, lamb, chicken or fish, but we suggest sticking with Ruth's Chris' hand-cut USDA Prime Midwestern filet mignon, cowboy rib-eye, New York strip or two-person porterhouse steaks, accompanied by one of many potato selections or giant asparagus spears with hollandaise sauce. Starters include New Orleans-style barbecued shrimp, crab-stuffed mushrooms and a classic Caesar salad. While steak is surely the star here, the Maine lobster is also first-rate. Desserts --- consider the signature white chocolate chunk bread pudding with spirited crème anglaise sauce --- should not be overlooked. The wine list offers plenty of big reds to complement the hearty steaks. Service is attentive.
