A sophisticated wine list also features a healthy selection of Champagnes, suggesting that this is a special-occasion spot. Evidence is everywhere: the anniversary couple dining in the corner; single dessert slices with birthday candles ablaze being whisked through the dining room; buckets of Champagnes chilling by tables throughout. Archetypal tenderloin, buttery strip, and super sirloin steaks evoke the hedonist in one and all. What pleasure we find here just by satisfying our all-American craving for meat and potatoes.
