THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Santa Fe Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS The Faubourg Marigny's Latino-style hotspot is Santa Fe, inhabiting a comely old frame cottage at Washington Square Park. Inside, against stark white walls hung with mirrors and striking prints, a hip crowd gathers on cushioned rattan armchairs to dig into nachos buried under a half dozen or more toppings, tamales bursting with chipotle-seasoned pork, a variety of fajitas (including crawfish), and baroque European desserts turned out by the German-born owner-chef. The margaritas are several notches above average, too. The place is wildly popular with the thirtysomething crowd, so expect a wait for a table even with a reservation.
