THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Saskatoon Restaurant Review:
Fielding a menu that has even the non-gamers interested in the unusually presented steaks, seafood and poultry dishes, Saskatoon features wild game, from elk to feathered creatures. First course offerings include some interesting dishes, such as the wild game sausage sampler, with sausage made in-house and varying from visit to visit. Wild boar appears on flatbread and in eggrolls. Buffalo flank steak materializes as either an appetizer (plenty for a small appetite as is the wild game sausage), in a lettuce wrap (a rather odd spot) or as a main dish. Buffalo meatloaf and sliders appear on the bar menu, which features a number of small plates drawn, largely, from the appetizers list on the main menu. The game dishes are the most interesting, but the less adventurous will be happy with a section called "Tame Game," featuring more usual fare.
