There are lots of imaginative dishes here that can’t be categorized. Hope to find such fare as the fettuccine with a ragoût of beef sirloin, the roasted eggplant appetizer topped with slowly melting Roquefort cheese and a roasted rosemary chicken with homemade mashed potatoes---heavenly. Other dinner choices may include rack of lamb or pan-seared duck breast. Desserts seem less inspired, but for calorie watchers, the kitchen has created Coco Saveur, a mock crème brûlée with egg whites and a shot of coconut flavor. It’s definitely a be-seen-in kind of place, with distinct uptown cachet.
