In the middle of downtown Arlington, Sawatdee offers a glitzy take on the Thai theme. Rumor has it that its authentic décor comes straight from Thailand, which immediately puts customers in a Thai mood. The menu presents many familiar Thai dishes, including lemon grass soup, spring rolls, satay with peanut sauce and pad thai. We recommend the hot and filling tom yam talay, a seafood soup served over rice noodles, and the appetizer garden roll of shrimp and crab meat folded into a soft wrapper. Lunchtimes are particularly crowded.
