Scalinatella Restaurant Review:

Barely glimpsed from the street, Scalinatella serves cuisine from many regions of Italy in a contemporary and soothing setting. The many regular customers come for the attentive service and above-standard Italian fare. The smallish menu includes standout lasagna, grilled boneless chicken, veal and fish, as well as pastas and specials that change often. This restaurant is somewhat of an Upper East Side secret, but we still recommend making reservations.
