Sea Pearl Restaurant & Lounge Restaurant Review:
Offering one of the area’s most confusing menus --- a bit of Asian, a bit of American, a bit of both blended --- Sea Pearl is the sister restaurant of the adjacent Four Sisters, a popular Vietnamese eatery. But whereas Four Sisters keeps true to a certain taste profile, Sea Pearl’s flavors are so fused that picking out dishes is a challenge. True, sushi chefs take liberties with their signature rolls, but Sea Pearl’s Hell Roll with a habanero sauce and jalapeños is way over the top. Lunch offerings range from chirashi sushi bowls to spiced chicken panzanella salad, cornmeal-crusted oysters with chipotle salsa, hamburgers and fish ‘n’ chips. The Westernized dinner menu features a Maine lobster, braised short ribs, roasted chicken and baked Alaskan cod. A wine list and cocktails are available, and the sea-reminiscent bar will make you feel like you’ve settled down at the beach.
