Steven Arroyo, whose growing collection of eateries includes Cobras & Matadors, Malo and Church & State, operates this 14-seat French-inspired wine bar adjacent to the Los Feliz edition of C&M. Its name is inspired by a little place on the Ile St-Louis in Paris, and with its red leather stools, vintage mirrors and candelabras, it almost feels like a neighborhood Parisian hangout. In classic form, the daily menu of small plates is scrawled on a chalkboard, often including the likes of steak frites, moules frites, onion rings and fresh oysters. Pair it with a French beer or explore the list of about 50 reasonably priced California and French wines.
