Luxurious Persian rugs decorate the walls or this room, done in restful shades of blue and purple, and accented by carved brass fixtures. In one of the few Persian venues in the city, and certainly the most elegant, they offer standard dishes like skewered mixtures of beef, lamb and onions, that are grilled and served with basmati rice, or baked chicken and sautéed sweet oranges with carrots, pistachios and almonds over saffron rice. For dessert, expect cakes like baklava, or puddings of rice and nuts with rosewater.
