The outside of Sign of the Vine can be a little disarming at first glance. The restaurant sits in a house with a veranda for outdoor dining. Inside, however, the ambience is quietly upscale, with candle-lit tables set with linen, fresh-cut flowers and crystal augmented by attentive service. There are antiques and artwork to distract the eye. The eclectic menu changes nightly and is delivered on a chalkboard and tableside. Perhaps the most popular entrée is Jack's Lobster Hash---Florida lobster tail served with artichoke hearts and scallions in a casserole dish.
