Six Seven Restaurant & Lounge Restaurant Review:
There are few better places in Seattle than Six Seven to dine and enjoy right-on-the-water Elliott Bay views. The official dining site for the historic Edgewater, the city’s only genuine waterfront hotel, the restaurant is named after its Pier 67 location. The property gained fame in 1964 when The Beatles tossed a fishing line out their guest room window; today, its quirky décor is a cross between an elegant mountain lodge and seaside hotel --- eccentric but pleasant. On the menu, dinner starters include braised beef and truffle tortellini, Dungeness crab and shrimp cakes, and gnocchi with duck confit, goat cheese and raw honey. Entrées range from braised short ribs with smoked bacon to arugula pesto-brushed ling cod with roasted fennel. For a sweet ending, we recommend the pumpkin cheesecake. Artisan, boutique, and hard-to-find local labels make up the well-chosen wine list.
