Skidder's Restaurant Review:
Don't judge this restaurant by its cover. From the outside, it looks a bit like it might serve your standard seafood fare. But Skidder's offers breakfast as well, such as an eight-ounce New York strip plus two eggs and home fries and toast. The menu features not only the standard snacks and tastes (Cuban or grouper sandwiches, salads, soups, burgers) but also more than a dozen pizzas. Greek selections are available, too: a gyro with tzatziki, tomatoes and onions plus souvlaki, platters, spinach pie and moussaka. Entrées focus on broiled or fried seafood and nearly two dozen pastas, from fettuccine primavera to baked ziti à la Skidder's, and steaks, veal and chicken dishes. Desserts range from cheesecakes to ice cream sundaes, a Double Trouble chocolate cake and baklava.
