About the restaurant: Studio City backyard barbecue icon Burt Bakman (Trudy’s Underground Barbecue) partnered with The h.wood Group to open SLAB on West 3rd Street.
Food: Look for long-cooked Central Texas-style brisket, beef and pork spare ribs, and sausage from a custom-built smoker, as well as traditional Texas sides.
