THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Solaris Grille Restaurant Review:
An oak barroom gives way to a bright pastel-hued dining room that in turn looks to a garden room. It's a contemporary setting where chef John Anderson delivers well-executed, straightforward fare to a loyal following of Chestnut Hill neighbors and city folk. They may start with Parmesan-dusted calamari or a vibrant toss of Boston lettuce with Granny Smith apples, blue cheese, spicy cashews and honey-sesame vinaigrette. Entrées run the gamut from steaks and fajitas to a good selection of seafood including a mixed seafood brochette and an herb-marinated salmon. The appetizer menu reads like a great tailgate party and for Monday night football, it's the place to be. Solaris features live music and offers wine tastings.
