Spice China Restaurant Review:
This large, comfortable restaurant has more than 200 items on its easy-to-read menu. In the front, you'll find old standards like moo shu pork, cashew chicken and beef with black mushrooms. There is an entire section of dumplings---all excellent. Start with the crispy scallion pancakes or the sizzling Shanghai shrimp (the chef is from Shanghai and trained in Hong Kong). Try the eggplant in hot garlic sauce or the crispy duck with a not-too-sweet plum sauce. For dessert, our favorites are the red bean-filled crêpes or the sesame seed balls. Regulars stop by after work for take-out.
