A culinary playground for adults---the 1940 in the phone number says it all. A 16-piece big band plays dance music well into the night at this lush conversion of a theater into a deluxe supper club. A 1940 review is great fun with singers and dancers re-creating the bygone era of swing. Food is a period piece, too, with Oysters Rockefeller, tournedos Rossini, crêpes Suzette and other golden oldies.
