T-Rex Restaurant Review:
If you’ve eaten at Rainforest Café, T-Rex is the next generation of this sort of “sensory overload dining,” brought to you by the same Landry’s Restaurant team. Expect a wait at this popular restaurant, where the line snakes out the door around waterfalls and a 140-foot-long Argentinosaurus. The 30,000-square-foot space with seating for more than 600 is tricked out with life-size robotic dinosaurs, giant fish tanks, real fossils in the bathrooms and crystals in the walls. Our favorite space is the Ice Cave, a cool blue creation at the back of the restaurant with glowing walls. Food-wise, if you stick to the basics it’s just fine. You’ll find family-friendly options like nachos, flatbread and ravioli. Big salads, huge bowls of pasta and various seafood items round out the menu. At Disney World, this is kid-pleasing “eatertainment.”
