Tacombi Restaurant Review:
The Greenwich Village location of Tacombi, the taqueria that had its beginnings serving tacos out of a Volkswagen bus in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, is set in a sleek industrial-looking space. The usual taco varieties are available, along with Yucatan specialties: chicken soup with hints of sweet and sour, roasted pork served on a slightly crispy taco shell, and suckling pig marinated in orange and achiote. Guacamole is creamier than your run-of-the-mill mashed avocado dip, and is served with extra-thick tortilla chips. Supplement your meal with a cerveza or freshly squeezed juice. Service is friendly.
