Taqueria Nacional Restaurant Review:
Taco mania returns to DC with the relocated Taqueria Nacional near the U Street Corridor. And for those DCers who loved what the place served at the Capitol Hill location, this is good news, especially now that there is ample seating and a broader menu that includes several different taco fillings, a very cheesy quesadilla (which you can augment with a scoop of meat of your choice), tostadas and a salad. Sides include fried yucca, guacamole and assorted salsas. Beverages can be tame, such as horchata or aguas frescas, or spirited, with margaritas, sangría and beer. Weekends offer a breakfast menu that should inspire folks to get up and out --- if only just to eat huevos rancheros and a breakfast quesadilla.
