Tea rules the realm in this vintage Victorian roost, but you’ll also find all manner of British foodstuffs available for purchase --- Marmite, mushy peas, salad cream and more. As for tea, they do it to a tee. Choose from several authentic services, even the Royal Tea for two with all the trappings: scones, house-made preserves, lemon curd, English cream, cakes, biscuits and your choice of classic tea sandwiches such as egg salad or salmon and cucumber. Other choices range from Stilton on toast or a Ploughman’s lunch complete with chutney and a pickled onion.
